Forestkin are those who identify mentally and/or spiritually as the forest or everything the forest encompasses. They might identify with many or all kintypes/theriotypes correlating to forest creatures and forest plants, or feel they are a manifestation of the forest. Often forestkin feel at home within the forest, as it is like part of themselves. They may also enjoy collecting rocks, plants, seeds, nuts, or other things related to the forest.
Some forestkin may be a specific forest. The forest they are may not be one on Earth and may instead be fictional or alien.
Forestkin may feel protective of forest creatures such as rodents or birds. They may be very interested in learning about their inhabitants and advocating for their protection from poaching and deforestation.
In a way, forestkin might be counterpart to Oceankin.
